About Looks Clinics

You do not have an eyelid correction performed at just any clinic. With that in mind, eye surgeon drs. Dulaimi founded Looks Clinics. This specialised clinic for eyelid corrections opened its doors at the Health Innovation Park in Zwolle and now also has a branch in Amsterdam and an intake location in Rotterdam.

A specialised clinic for eyelid corrections

Quality and safety come first.

Looks Clinics is not just another eyelid correction clinic. Founder drs. Dulaimi has specialised in eyelid surgery. Even before he had completed his medical studies at VU Amsterdam, he was accepted into the internationally renowned ophthalmology programme at Maastricht University.

Clients from all over the world

At Looks Clinics, we are proud of our international reach. Not only do clients from all over the Netherlands find their way to us, but people from Belgium, Germany, and France also choose our expertise. Clients even travel to us from Sweden, Los Angeles, and Miami for careful treatment and personal care. This international recognition confirms our commitment to quality and client satisfaction.

Prestigious European diploma

“During that time, I gained a wealth of practical experience,” says drs. Dulaimi. “There were days when I saw twenty patients in the morning. Partly because of this, I was able to significantly develop my surgical skills. Subsequently, I obtained a prestigious European diploma for ophthalmologists in Paris.”

Breaking the taboo surrounding eyelid corrections

In addition to his work at Looks Clinics, drs. Dulaimi works as an eye surgeon at FYEO. The idea for Looks Clinics originated during his work as an ophthalmologist. “My patients regularly inquired about the possibilities for eyelid correction. Often with some hesitation. Not only because they are afraid someone will think they are vain, but also because they do not want to become a 'Barbie doll'.”

Looks Clinics opts for natural beauty

The latter is unthinkable at Looks Clinics. “We only make subtle changes that suit the client’s age, face, and style,” emphasises drs. Dulaimi. “We work very precisely, so that we remove as little skin as possible to achieve the desired result. That is a prerequisite for me.”

Clinical experience

With all his experience, drs. Dulaimi knows the anatomy of the eye and its immediate surroundings down to the last detail. “By no means every clinic employs a specialised eye surgeon,” he explains. “In many clinics, non-specialist doctors with little or no clinical experience perform eyelid corrections. I have my reservations about that, because experience is needed to know exactly what is feasible and what is not.”

In addition to Drs. Dulaimi Eye surgeon Dr. Lenneke de Visser and aesthetic physicians drs. Robin Vogel-Zoglmann and drs. N. Lahdo work at Looks Clinics, all with years of clinical experience. During the procedure, the doctor is supported by our medical assistants, ensuring that the procedure and aftercare proceed with care.

Anyone considering undergoing a procedure should first make an appointment for an introductory consultation with one of our doctors. This consultation is free of charge and without obligation, either in person or online.

Dr Dulaimi: “During that appointment, we discuss your wishes and the possibilities. I explain exactly why I do or do not want to do certain things. If we agree on the treatment, we schedule it in consultation with you. There is always at least one week between the consultation and the procedure. I believe that a client should always have sufficient time to consider their options.”
