An upper eyelid correction of both eyes costs one thousand seven hundred and fifty euros. This includes the facial analysis, ophthalmic examination where indicated, the procedure itself, the pre- and aftercare instructions, removal of the stitches, the check-ups and the scar cream. The call on day three and our recovery app are included as well.

The introductory consultation is free of charge and without obligation, at the clinic or online. There is always a reflection period of at least one week between the consultation and the procedure. So you never decide on the spot.

If you choose the laser-assisted upper eyelid correction, the price is one thousand nine hundred and fifty euros. A lower eyelid correction costs one thousand seven hundred and fifty euros, and the combination of upper and lower three thousand five hundred euros. All rates include the consultation, aftercare and check-ups. An upper eyelid correction is a cosmetic procedure and is generally not reimbursed. You settle the treatment directly.

An eyelid correction is a medical procedure. Who operates, how aftercare is arranged and what is and is not included in the price determine what you get for your money. That is why we name one amount, known in advance, and list exactly what it includes. This allows you to compare clinics fairly: not only on the amount, but also on the surgeon, the check-ups and the guidance during recovery.

The consultation and the reflection period

The introductory consultation is free of charge and without obligation, at the clinic in Zwolle or Amsterdam, at our intake location in Rotterdam or online. During the consultation one of our doctors performs a facial analysis and discusses with you which treatment suits you and what it costs. There is always a reflection period of at least one week between the consultation and the procedure; you never decide on the spot. Consultations and written instructions are available in English.

Will my eyelid correction be reimbursed by my insurer?

Whether your eyelid correction is reimbursed does not depend on your insurer, but on the type of treatment and the extent to which the condition troubles you. Upper eyelid correction is a cosmetic procedure and is generally not reimbursed. There are exceptions, but they rarely occur. Because we are a non-contracted healthcare provider, we do not invoice your health insurer directly. In principle, you pay for the care provided immediately after your appointment by debit card at the reception desk, unless other arrangements have been made with you. You therefore first pay for the treatment yourself. You can then submit the invoice that you receive from us to your health insurer. What you get back from your health insurer depends on your insurance conditions.
